Light the candles on the wall to the left of the alter first, starting at the candle nearest the alter.

Light the candles on the wall to the right of the alter next, starting at the candle nearest the alter.

Light the two candles at the lectern next.

Light the single Pascal candle next only if there is a Baptism.

Light the two candles on the alter only if there is Communion.

Extinguish the candles in the reverse order there were lit.

Pause and bow slightly whenever you pass by the center of the alter.
